The Bible says “And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas” Luke 23:18 KJV. Instead we can be like Peter. Because “…Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life” John 6:68 KJV. So we can choose God: Jesus.
For many people such as myself, 2021 was hard. Many of us know 2020 was very hard to live in with the outbreak of COVID-19 from March 2020, from what I knew personally. But we got a little (or just some) break in 2021. Nevertheless, the unfortunate deaths from COVID-19 was still with us and every where in 2021. Many Apostolic Christians who still love God found ways to make it to Church and worship the one true God: Jesus as we did in 2020 and before. Some just gave up and choose Barabbas kind of life. Some just refuse to come to Christ for Salvation and blame God for what’s going on. I do not have the Spiritual Gift of Prophesy. So I will not prophesy about what is coming in 2022 and beyond. But God is still God who will keep his promise (Hebrews 13:5 KJV).
In August to November 2021 I was with some UPC Apostolic Saints. One in particular spoke about some “Apostolic Saints” she know who are now embracing another kind of Church Doctrine than the Acts 2:38 KJV Doctrine. It seems that they have gone a stray and following their own “thing” when it comes to Christianity and Church Fellowship. Others just attend Church as a matter of “formality” without the commitment. But instead of “judging” anyone, I focus on Matthew 22:36-40 KJV and hope that they will not choose Barabbas – permanently.
In 2021 my mind and heart kept on focusing on Matthew 22:36-40 KJV. I saw so many videos on YouTube about many, many types of “Religious” Christianity my soul wanted to help as many as I can get out of that or avoid that and come to the real Jesus who gives us Salvation – not a religion. It seems they were choosing Barabbas by fate. But sometimes it was by choice. At the end of 2021 I still choose the real God: Jesus by choice and the Acts 2:38 KJV Church in obedience. I hope my soul will continue to be happy. But many others need to be happy as well. James 5:16 KJV puts it this way: “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” Pray one for another is always right.
The Apostolic Church Believers from Acts 2:38 KJV will always have it hard until the second coming of Christ or their natural death. It’s real true prophesy in the Bible. But the Church can fight and win if we keep others in prayers and help when we can. We are not Angels of God who can do many things from the power given to them by God. But we are Saints of God with the Holy Ghost from God so we can help to change things and people life for the better from our prayers and fasting – by the will of God. I still believe that.
